Christmas Toys – So here is my next post and one of my favourites. Why? Because we are talking about toys here! Toys toys and nothing but toys! What a better time to talk about toys then during the Christmas period. I just love toys and I simple cant grow out of toys. In my first post I have already talked about some of the hot christmas toys as well as provided my own version of the top 10 christmas toys. There is a Christmas toy for everyone this Christmas so just be rest assured that your toys would be delivered by xmas. I have seen many people queue up at the christmas toy shop just to buy some toys for Christmas but I think it would be easier to order your toys from home.
Today I am not going to simply talk about some christmas toys for kids or even some christmas toys for boys. I will be talking about some Christmas movies that are not only popular but have toys which are quite well received. First of all have you heard of the night before Christmas? The Nightmare Before Christmas was produced and co-written by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. It was shown in 1993 (back then when I watched it I remember that I was still pretty young) and is an American stop motion musical fantasy. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a being from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town". You can also check out this site for some creative Halloween costumes or maybe some Halloween party ideas these are the sites to go to. Anyway check out some of these nightmare before christmas toys. I sure love those figurines.
I guess by now the nightmare before Christmas are not some of the hottest christmas toys but they are still pretty cool and novel. Many people might be looking for the best christmas toys but I can only tell you that there are all sorts of Christmas toys to suit all sorts of people. But if you are a parent, be sure to check out the christmas toys for girls or kids christmas toys for the more popular ones. You can always browse the christmas toy catalogs. You know what are some of the coolest Christmas toys? Check out the christmas toy soldiers and the christmas toy trains.
Now I guess you may have realised that the above toy soldiers and toy train sets do not really have anything to do with Christmas, though two of the train sets are actually modelled after the Polar Express movie, which is a Christmas movie. I think it is really fun to decorate your house during Christmas and what better way to do it than by introducing some trains running around the house. You can also station all those toy soldiers along the railway track. It will be so much fun! Besides the Polar Express there is also another cool Christmas movie known as the christmas toy movie. This was a pretty old film released in 1986 created by The Jim Henson Company. These are the people who have brought us the muppets like Ms Piggy and Kermit The Frog. This film even led to a series known as Secret Life of Toys.
So I guess by now if you have been reading all my posts you would have a sense of all the Christmas toys and xmas gifts available in the market. There is simply too much to blog out and I will try my best. If you are looking for cheap christmas toys or even free christmas toys these are also possible but you will have to look out for them. Perhaps I will try to find such examples in future posts. Then there are also pet lovers who want to buy dog christmas toys. You can also get some christmas toys for toddlers or even singing christmas toys. The latest singing toy sensation- check out the The Sing-A-Ma-Jigs. These guys are cute little soft toys that when pressed each emits a different song. All have three modes of play including chatter, singing their own song or singing in harmony with their other Sing-a-ma-jig friend. You just have to collect them all and make them sing! These really are great animated christmas toys!
So there you have it. For today I guess these are the toys that I am promoting this year 2010. Not sure what were the best selling christmas toys last year in 2009 but I am sure 2011 is going to be a blast. Be sure to grab your latest christmas toy catalog and try to predict the top selling christmas toys. I am sure you will never run out of christmas toy ideas because there are just so many new christmas toys being released these days. There are also plenty of christmas toy drives for charity purposes so do take part in christmas toy donations if you can.
Check out the various cool christmas toys and if your friends have special tastes you might consider getting some vintage christmas toys or even victorian christmas toys. But these will not be the topic of my blog simply because it is too specialised.
